Workspace

Workspace is the unified interface Nordic Carbon builds on top of your Sustainability OS. We design role-based views, workflow templates, and live connections to your knowledge layer, reporting pipelines, and agents - so teams ask questions, launch processes, and manage compliance from one place instead of switching between disconnected tools.

How we build it

The interface your teams actually operate from

Workspace is built as part of your Sustainability OS - not a standalone portal. We follow Discover → Architect → Deploy → Scale to design how each role interacts with data, workflows, and agents in one place tailored to how your organization runs.

  1. 01

    Map how teams work today

We start in Discover: who runs sustainability processes, which tools they switch between, where approvals happen, and what questions teams ask repeatedly - so the workspace reflects real operating habits, not a generic dashboard layout.

  2. 02

    Design role-based views and workflows

We architect navigation, permissions, and workflow entry points for sustainability, finance, operations, and procurement - each role sees what they need without wading through irrelevant modules or data.

  3. 03

    Connect the OS underneath

We wire the workspace to the knowledge layer, reporting pipelines, supplier programs, and agents - so every action in the interface runs against live, governed data instead of stale exports.

  4. 04

    Deploy core process templates

We stand up templates for disclosure cycles, supplier campaigns, data quality reviews, and compliance checks - customizable workflows teams can launch in clicks rather than rebuilding each quarter.

  5. 05

    Refine and expand with usage

We iterate on layouts, shortcuts, and automations as teams adopt the workspace - adding new process types and integrations as sustainability operations scale across sites and business units.

How teams use it

Every sustainability process, one entry point

Once live, Workspace is where sustainability operations happen day to day - replacing the habit of jumping between spreadsheets, BI tools, email, and point solutions for every question, task, and approval.

  1. 01

    Ask questions in plain language

Teams query emissions trends, supplier gaps, or disclosure status conversationally - drawing answers from the knowledge layer without building ad-hoc reports or waiting on analysts.

  2. 02

    Launch and track workflows

Start a reporting cycle, supplier outreach campaign, or evidence collection run from one place - with status, ownership, and deadlines visible to everyone involved.

  3. 03

    Monitor what needs attention

Dashboards and alerts surface stale data, approaching deadlines, failed validations, and open approvals - so teams act on exceptions instead of manually checking dozens of sources.

  4. 04

    Collaborate across functions

Sustainability, finance, legal, and procurement share context, comments, and sign-offs inside the same workspace - replacing email chains and disconnected review documents.

  5. 05

    Stay audit-ready from the interface

Every action leaves a trace - from a launched workflow to an approved figure - so reviewers and auditors can follow how decisions were made without reconstructing history from scattered files.
